I have completed my bachelor’s and master's degrees in business administration in India. In my free time, I enjoy practicing yoga and am also a certified yoga teacher, which supports my calm and mindful approach in the classroom.
Goal : Provide individualized instruction that fosters communication, social skills, and independence for students.

Ms. Hester

Hello! I’m Mrs. Hester and I’m one of 3 amazing Teachers of Students with Autism! This is my 4th year teaching at this school, and 4th year teaching in general.  I graduated from Radford University twice! Once in 2021 with my Bachelor’s of Science in Special Education and again in 2022 with my Master’s in Special Education - General and Adapted Curriculum.  Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, my beautiful baby boy, and my cat named Soup.  I'm blessed to have the support of my 3 wonderful Teacher Assistants who work alongside me to help your eagle soar!

Ms. Perroots

Kayla Palfrey
My name is Kayla Perroots. I am a proud graduate of James Madison University where I received a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Special Education in 2017.  I have been a special education teacher in Prince William County since then.
I enjoy working in small groups with students, and my favorite thing to teach is reading!
I love to read in my spare time, and I hope to instill that love in my students.
I am looking forward to working with the Rockledge community for the 2024-25 school year!
