Principal's Advisory Council

Purpose

The purpose of the Principal's Advisory Council is to provide opportunities for members of the school community to participate in the decision-making process at the local school level. The School Advisory Council's decisions influence much of what happens at your school. This volunteer body made up of staff and parents provides input on the school budget, helps formulate the Annual School Plan, and solicits your opinions on the yearly school survey. Through the parent survey, you get a chance to be involved in this decision-making process.

• The PAC will:

  • Assist with the identification of school needs.
  • Review, evaluate, and shape the school’s continuous improvement plan.
  • Facilitate communication between school staff and the school community.
  • Provide input for the proposed school budget.
