With a diploma in Primary Education from Sam Sharpe Teachers’ College and a Bachelor’s in Education from the International University of the Caribbean, I have dedicated the past 17 years to nurturing young learners. I believe that every child is capable of growth and success when they are supported, challenged, and encouraged. My philosophy centers on creating a safe, inclusive classroom where students feel valued, curious, and confident in their abilities.

Hello! I am Ms. Staple.

This is my 23^rd year of teaching. I have known I wanted to teach since 6th grade. I love working with kids. I teach because I want to make a difference in students’ lives. I want to help them develop skills to become lifelong learners and enjoy learning. I want to help students strengthen their self-efficacy in Core subjects and help them become more engaged and enjoy learning, therefore, increasing their confidence in, and the enjoyment in learning.

I want my students to know that they can learn and that they have support. I love teaching 5th grade!

Between teaching and doing schoolwork, I like to travel the world. I also love spending time with my family!

Welcome Eagles, to an exciting year where we will continue soaring toward our goals. We have an exciting year planned digging into the scientific and engineering practices as we learn about the world around us. Teaching students that they will be the problem-solvers of tomorrow and watching them get excitement for their futures and an understanding of the importance they hold is why I come to school each day.
